Content Services Director

Mark is responsible for the service development and ongoing service management and marketing of ODG's own and client entertainment TV services. He is heavily involved in ODG's service management role for the Virgin TV On Demand service, and ODG's German KDG and Unity PPV Movie services.

Mark is a highly experienced marketer of mass-market goods and services with great experience in the development exploitation of new television services. He was Marketing Director of Video Networks from 1993 to 2002 with responsibility for the commercial development of the HomeChoice video on demand and broadband Internet services.

His responsibilities included marketing, user interface development, service development, consumer recruitment and market research for the initial market trials and for the commercial launch, advertising, marketing, promotion, and user interface development of the service in London over BT's DSL network.

During this time Mark was also responsible for developing added value services including, leisure lifestyle, TV-shopping, advertising and government information services, as well as the core entertainment services.

Before Video Networks, Mark held a number of senior marketing posts including Marketing and Business Development Director for Harrods, where he built-up the Harrods brand and launched Harrods International; Commercial Director of Mirror Group Newspapers; European Marketing Director for Alberto Culver; and Account Director for Leo Burnett Advertising, having started his career in FMCG with Scott Paper and St. Ivel Foods.
