Chief Operating Officer
Andrew has worked within the IT and media industries for over 20 years and been with On Demand since 2002. As Chief Operating Officer, he has day to day responsibility for the company's content preparation services and business operations. He is also responsible for On Demand's professional services team of consultants, who are engaged on a number of client VOD deployments. Andrew also oversees the software development team who maintain the company's content management system VZ, supporting the On Demand content preparation lifecycle. Before joining the board, Andrew headed up Solution Delivery for On Demand where notably he was the programme manager responsible for leading the successful launch of ntl:'s video on demand service.
Before joining On Demand, Andrew co-founded Tripleplay Services, a specialist broadband consultancy. Here he worked very closely with the On Demand team providing advice on systems integration and programme management for VOD deployments.
Andrew was previously head of product development for KPMG Consulting's Information, Communications and Entertainment practice. There, he developed and grew the practice's delivery capability in systems integration and broadband technologies.
Before KPMG, Andrew spent five years with Accenture where he worked on large and complex system integration projects. It was with Accenture that Andrew developed his expertise in digital television, as part of the team that rolled out the digital platforms fr ntl: and Telewest in the UK.
