- Three-Screen Leader Activates Blockbuster Movie and TV Alliances for Cyprus IPTV Service
LONDON (14 Sept. 2009) – On Demand Group (a SeaChange International company, Nasdaq: SEAC), three-screen video enabler for premier content and operations brands, today announced at IBC2009 another video-on-demand customer in southern Europe, PrimeTel PLC in Cyprus. PrimeTel is the fourth telco to partner with On Demand Group to develop its IPTV on-demand service since it launched its regional expansion strategy.
From its state-of-the-art London content processing facility, the On Demand Group is providing thousands of encoded video-on-demand titles from the major Hollywood studios and a full range of subscription VOD (SVOD) titles including movies, TV series, documentaries, kids programming and music videos. The relationship empowers PrimeTel with the leading competitive package of on-demand content in the Cypriot market, including the latest blockbuster movies and the biggest SVOD selection in Greek and other languages.

The strong growth will be driven by IPTV with more than 65 per cent of all VOD homes in the region served by IPTV platforms.
