In May 2009, On Demand Group (ODG) announced the move into its new HQ, including a purpose built asset processing and video production facility, in Tower Bridge Road, London, SE1 3LW. The new facility provides cost effective, quality encoding, content processing services, and promo production targeted at U.K. and international companies looking to launch or enhance their on-demand video services.
The new facility, including key equipment from Grab Networks, Dolby, Softel and Tektronix, enables ODG to ingest from tape or file-based assets supplied by content partners, and supply content into a wide range of SD and HD consumer formats including; MPEG 2, MPEG 4, MXF, FLV, WMV and QT, at very competitive prices. Further, it is the first and only TL9000 certified content processing facility available to Europe’s growing telco IPTV operators.

ODG controls dedicated encoding and editing suites, and a large media library. The CPC is located in ODG’s new purpose built office in Tower Bridge Road, London SE1 3LW.
CPC functions include:
- Ingesting tape-based or digital content and metadata. This is to create primary assets for encoding and promotion production for distribution to VOD servers, promotion channels and EPG/VPG and IP displays
- Post production activity creating video and still images, and text promotion material
- Collating assets, workflows and contracts through digital asset management and other content management systems
- Providing advanced transactional and subscription reporting platform for suppliers and customers
- Multi-lingual capability for European content ingest
- Integrated controlling software
